Spot Welders - Automotive

Resistance spot welding is the means of joining two pieces of metal with a combination of heat, pressure and time. It is the resistance of the material to be welded  to current flow that creates a localised heating in the material to be welded, hence the name resistance welding.

The pressure exerted by the electrode arms through the tips, holds the parts to be welded in intimate contact before, during and after the welding current time cycle.

Our selection includes portable spot welders, single-sided spotters, dent pulling systems and high-output resistance spot welders capable of welding modern automotive steels. Many models feature microprocessor-controlled welding programmes, adjustable weld current, timer functions, water-cooled arms, interchangeable electrodes and dedicated automotive repair accessories, allowing consistent weld quality across a wide range of vehicle manufacturers and panel thicknesses.
