Thoriated TIG Tungsten Electrodes

Thoriated TIG Tungstens are a type of tungsten electrode commonly used in Tungsten Inert Gas (TIG) welding. These electrodes are made from a blend of 98% tungsten and 2% thorium oxide, which gives them exceptional conductivity and arc stability. Thoriated TIG tungsten's are popular among welders for their long life and ability to maintain a sharp point, even after extended use. Additionally, they have a high melting point, making them suitable for use with  DC welding currents. However, it's worth noting that thoriated TIG tungsten's are radioactive, and care should be taken to handle them safely.
