SIFPHOSPHOR BRONZE No. 82 brazing rods are premium-quality copper-phosphorus-silver alloys designed for brazing copper, brass, bronze, and other copper-based materials. Ideal for use in refrigeration, air conditioning, plumbing, and general engineering applications, these rods provide excellent fluidity, strong capillary action, and high-strength joints with outstanding reliability.
The addition of silver enhances ductility and improves joint performance, making SIFPHOSPHOR BRONZE No. 82 rods particularly suitable for applications subject to vibration, thermal cycling, and mechanical stress. They produce clean, neat brazed joints with excellent corrosion resistance and long-term durability.
SIF Phosphor bronze No 82 is ideal for TIG brazing it contains 12% tin, for improved colour match on brass and bronze. Sold in 1m, 1kg packets.
