    OXFORD MULTI-TIG 271DC Inverter Welder

Portable | Powerful | Reliable TIG & MMA Welding Performance

Experience outstanding welding precision and reliability with the Oxford MULTI-TIG 271DC Inverter Welder, available in 230V. Designed for professional fabricators and workshops, this hand portable TIG and MMA welding machine delivers exceptional performance, durability and ease of use in any environment.

    Key  Benefits

    Advanced TIG Functions

    • 2T / 4T Torch Control: All models start in 2T mode (press and hold to weld) and can easily switch to 4T for trigger latching ideal for long or continuous welds.

    • Pre-Set Welding Power: Adjust welding power directly on the clear digital display before starting your weld.

    • Built-In Gas Pre-Flow (0.5 sec): Ensures perfect gas coverage before arc ignition for clean, professional weld starts.

    • Slope Up & Down Controls: Achieve controlled arc starts and crater filling with adjustable ramp-up and ramp-down settings.

    • Gas Post-Flow Adjustment: Maintains gas shielding after welding to protect the weld pool and tungsten electrode.

    Pulse Welding Performance

    • Variable Pulse Frequency (1Hz 200Hz): Fine-tune your pulse settings for maximum control.

    • Low-Frequency Pulsing (1 PPS): Ideal for precision filler wire control and the signature herringbone TIG weld look.

    • High-Frequency Pulsing (up to 200Hz): Reduces the heat-affected zone and provides a more concentrated, stable arc.

    • Fully Adjustable Pulse Controls: Independently control base current, peak current, and frequency for superior weld quality.

Smooth & Virtually Silent Welding Operation

    • Instant HF Arc Starts: Reliable, instant arc ignition with Oxfords advanced electronic HF system.

    • Super Smooth Performance: Enjoy a virtually silent and stable arc across the entire current range.

    • Electronic HF: which creates minimal radiated noise.

    • Analogue Controls: Simple, intuitive dials allow fast, precise adjustments no software menus or complicated interfaces.

    Safe & Robust Design

    • Low Radiated Noise: Safe for use near sensitive IT and electronic equipment.

    • Rugged & Reliable Construction: Engineered for long-term use in demanding workshop environments.

    • Hand-Portable: Compact, easy to move, and ideal for both on-site and workshop applications.

    • Supplied as a package.

Despite the simplicity of these models we have included many unseen features to benefit welding & operation including.
Auto shut down of gas & power if TIG output energised for too long without welding, fan on demand circuit only runs as needed to
minimise noise & wear, output resets to off during slope down if arc is interrupted, upslope time only starts after arc starts. Also for
enhanced safety the output power is always off at switch on until the torch switch is pressed or MMA selected.
Build quality & design We design & build all our own PCBs, transformers, coils, power assemblies etc. There are NO
microprocessors or programable technology used, GUARANTEED no software to corrupt! Built using our rugged 2 IGBT power
module technology & simple electronics minimum parts & maximum reliability! Our reliability is the very best, no matter if
welding all day in production or storing in a barn for years for occasional jobs.
From a serviceability point our inverter machines are simple, no need for an Electronics degree! We include diagnostic LEDs & test
points. All OXFORD machines can be maintained by any competent Technician anywhere in the world.
