These electrodes are made from a blend of 98% tungsten and 2% lanthanum oxide, which provides them with excellent performance characteristics. Lanthanated blue TIG tungsten's are known for their ease of use, long life, and good arc stability, making them a favourite among welders. They also have a low burn-off rate, which helps to extend their lifespan. Additionally, lanthanated TIG tungsten's can be used with both AC and DC welding currents, and they provide good performance when welding both ferrous and non-ferrous metals including Titanium, Aluminium and Magnesium.
