316 Stainless Steel Arc Welding Rods have a low carbon electrode depositing weld metal of the 18.5% Chromium, 11.60% Nickel, 2.3% Molybdenum type for corrosion resistance. Wide usage in textile, pulp and paper, rayon and chemical industries. May be used for overlaying carbon and low alloy steels to provide corrosion and acid resistance. Soft fusion without spatters, very easy slag removal. The electrode is suitable for welding steels of AISI 316L, 316 and 317 types. sold in 2kg packets. German formula.
