This is a unique professional multi process welding machine with battery charging & engine starting functions & a digital meter for super accurate read out of welding & charging parameters & is based around our very popular MIG 181.
This machine is designed and manufactured in Great Britain using high quality components to industrial standards & is constructed in a heavy gauge powder coated steel case which can withstand lots of abuse. The internals are built using overrated components to guarantee the best possible long term reliability.
Multi process functions
- MIG welding with gas
- MIG welding with gasless wire reverse polarity
- MIG brazing capability
- Battery charging & boosting & engine start
MIG welding & brazing
This machine has 12 volt steps on MIG for very fine adjustment of power & a minimum welding current of 15A can be achieved on standard MIG so will weld the very thinnest of materials without blowing through.
The polarity can be changed on the front so gasless wire can be used.
The MULTI 181 has 2 of is settings suited to MIG brazing.
Industry standard Euro torch connection
Wire size 0.6, 0.8 or 1.0 mm on 15kg or 5 kg
Full size gas bottle can be used.
Both welding volts & amps can be displayed on the very accurate digital meter.
This machine uses our tried & tested stable arc technology to give minimum spatter.
For all welding this machine has semi-synergic control so once the wire speed has been set, it automatically adjusts as the voltage controls are changed.
Charging & starting
Unlike low quality chargers this machine has 12 settings for battery charging & starting so the operator has good control of the current with a charging range from around 1 amp up to 35A max, the engine starting capability is 250 amps max.
Heavy duty 3M leads are supplied with this machine for charging & starting.
The super accurate digital meter allows the battery voltage to be checked prior to charging & the voltage & current can be precisely monitored during charging.
All models comply with CE requirements and are marked appropriately.
