ESAB Caddy Arc 201i Arc Welder
Formerly the Murex TradesArc 200, the Caddy Arc 201i machine is equipped with the large OKC 50 cable connectors for higher durability. The compact design, with its impact resistant polymer and aluminium casing, is light and easy to carry, yet the size does not compromise the important cooling of the internal components. Large heat sinks and clever design make for a cooler running machine with a longer life expectancy when used in harsh working environments. The design also helps to keep all sensitive parts inside the machine clean and dust free. Caddy® is built in accordance with IP23, which means it can be used outdoors – even in the rain. In-built PFC (Power Factor Correction) “the greener option” offers a higher output while reducing input power consumption! With SmartLinkTM input automatically linking to 115V or 230V the 161 S. It is capable of delivering 125 Amps on 115 Volt circuits for Stick & TIG welding. When used on 220-230 Volt circuits, maximum output is 160 Amps for either welding process. TecArc 166i Dual Inverter Arc Welder
TecArc 166i Dual Inverter arc welder, this model is designed for MMA stick welding and scratch start DC tig welding. The output current is variable between 20 and 160 amps. The machine will run MMA electrodes up to 4mm maximum, and due to its high efficiency will put down a 3.2mm 7018 electrode on a 13A plug. Large 35-50 mm sockets are fitted.
This dual voltage version will work on 110V or 230V, the machine switches to the correct input automatically (min 5.5KVA needed on 110V)

Hot Start
|
is a built-in device which produces an ideal boost to the output voltage, which eases electric arc ignition.
|
|
Anti-Sticking
|
is a built-in device that switches off the welding power source if the electrode sticks to the material being welded - thus preventing against overloading the unit and easing removal of the electrode.

|
Arc Force
|
prevents against short-circuits. It can be manually adjusted on high output machines and is pre-set on all others.
